I did my Ph.D. supervised by Peter from 1984 to 1991 taking quite some time. He invited me to his home when I completed my Ph.D. in December, 1991. He was a great teacher as well as a researcher. It was an honour for me to be one of his students. I still use the same assignment of HDLC in my networking class as the one we had at his class at UCL-CS. May he rest in peace.
